Andrey S. Bryukhovetskiy, MD
Andrey S. Bryukhovetskiy, MD is a professor, the holder of the second-level Doctorate Degree in Medicine (the Russian system), the veteran of the Ministry of Defense, retired colonel of the Medical Naval Service. Professor Bryukhovetskiy continues his clinical and research work in the private hospital NeuroVita that he heads from 2002 till now. Andrey S. Bryukhovetskiy became the Professor of Neurology in 2002 pursuing the therapy of the neurological disorders through stem cells. From 2005 to 2009 Prof. Bryukhovetskiy headed the Department of Cell Reparative Medicine of the Russian State Medical University. He is the author of 211 articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals, 20 patents and 15 books, as well as 13 chapters in the edited books in Russian and in English. From 2012 to December 2015 he headed the Center for Biomedical Technologies of the Federal Research and Clinical Center for Specialized Types of Medical Assistance and Medical Technologies of the Federal Medical Biological Agency. From 2014 till now Prof. Andrey Bryukhovetskiy is the Senior Research Scientist of the National Research Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology of the School of Biomedicine of the Far Eastern Federal University. Prof. Bryukhovetskiy is the member of the editorial board of the Russian journal Gheni i kletki (Genes and cells), an expert reviewer in the foreign journals Oncology Letter, Oncology Report and OncoTargets and Therapy. He is the head of the Ethics Committee of the NeuroVita clinical hospital.
