Professor Igor S. Dolgopolov, PhD, MD - the holder of the second-level Doctorate Degree in Medicine (the Russian system), professor, oncologist of the top category. Currently, Prof. Dolgopolov is the Pro-rector of Research in the Tver Medical University. Prof. Dolgopolov is an official consultant of the NeuroVita Clinical Hospital. Igor Dolgopolov graduated from Sechenov IM Medical Academy of Moscow in 1994, passed his medical residency training there at the Department of Children Diseases, worked as a children oncologist and chief researcher in the Department of the Bone Marrow Transplantation in the Research Institute of the Children Oncology and Hematology of the Blokhin NN National Medical Cancer Research Center of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation and from August 2019 to 2022 headed the Oncological Department of NeuroVita Clinic. Igor Dolgopolov passed his thesis for the first-level degree in medicine in 1999, and the thesis in Oncology for the second-level degree (Doctorate according to the Russian system) in 2004. Prof. Dolgopolov is the author of over 60 publications in Russian and foreign journals, over 100 proceedings; he is the author of the chapters in the national manuals and several edited monographs. He is a research advisor of 4 first-level degree theses and the author of several patents of invention. Igor Dolgopolov received his training in the hospitals and laboratories of France, Germany and USA. In 2021 Prof. Dolgopolov was elected to the position of the head of the Chair of Pediatrics in Tver State Medical University of the Ministry of Healthcare of Russia. He is a member of the Experts Board of Konstantin Khabenski Charity Fund and the member of the Ethics Committee of the NeuroVita Clinical Hospital.
