Mikhail A. Shurdov

Mikhail A. Shurdov is a biologist and biophysicist, graduated from Novosibirsk State University with the diploma of a physicist with majors in quantum optics and radio physics in 1975 and accepted the proposal to continue his carrier in the University as a research assistant. Mikhail A. Shurdov passed all stages of the research work from the research assistant, engineer, junior research scientist to the research associate from 1975 to 1990. In 1985 he defended a thesis in the Institute of Biophysics of the Academy of Science of the USSR in Krasnoyarsk and received the first-level Doctorate Degree in Biology (Russian system). Currently, Mikhail A. Shurdov is a business figure, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the principal stockholder of the Group of Companies of Cheboksary Electrical Apparatus Plant, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AO NeuroVita Clinical Hospital. He is the author of over 30 scientific publications, 15 Patents of the Russian Federation and one academic monograph. Dr. Mikhail A. Shurdov is a philanthropist who finances over 20 scientific projects in medicine and biology and the member of the Ethics Committee of the NeuroVita Clinical Hospital.
