Principles Clinical Hospital «NEUROVITA»

Our team has worked out several ethical principles that are never violated in our clinical work with biomedical technologies of the regenerative and post-genome medicine. According to the first of it our specialists never promise compete recover, restoration or healing. We are not gods; we are only doctors and experts in the post-genome and regenerative medicine. The regenerative medicine is not a cure all, but one of the multiple new technological opportunities to restore the damaged organs and tissues. It is the chance for an individual who has been rejected by conventional medicine as an incurable case.

The second ethical principle is the obligation of the patient to be involved into the systemic hard long-term work on the restoration of the morphological structure of the damaged organs and tissues and development of a new function. If the patient chooses to begin the treatment in our Hospital, they accept this obligation on them. The instruments of the restoration of the organs and tissues are our novel biotechnologies used by highly qualified experts that include our national innovations as well as our own author-developed patented inventions.

Our third principle implies that we never insist that our patients must be treated by our methods of therapy.  Every patient takes their decision on their own, independently and signs the informed consent.

If a doctor or some other staff member violate these principles, they are dismissed from the hospital. If a patient violates the principles, they are excluded from the protocols of diagnostics and therapy.

Ethically, it is not legitimate to perform medical procedures and manipulation (apart from the diagnostic ones) if the are not the donors of the biomaterial. However, we are convinced that aiming at prediction and prevention of the future diseases, it is ethically correct to are about one’s health and “biological insurance” from a young age. A healthy person can pass a special Check Up (specialized examination) to detect molecular-biological markers of the fatal diseases and the biomarkers of ageing even if the clinical and paraclinical signs or manifestations are absent. If such molecular signs of the incurable disorder are detected, the disease and its lethal outcome can be prevented by the harvest of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSCS and HPCs) and mesenchymal stromal stem cells (MSSCs) that are cryopreserved and stored in the none marrow bank or Hemabank of PAO Institute of the human stem cells. This permits isolation of the HSCS, HPCs and MSSCs from the process of ageing and preserve their health and youth. If the person develops the indications, such as lethal disease, the cells can be re-infused so that the development of the disease is arrested and the patient survives. If the person has no lethal disease, the reinfusion of the isolated cells can help extend the life span by ten to fifteen years.

Because of to the ethical considerations the patient is warned that they would never be able to become as they were before the disease. They will always keep the features that have been conditioned by the disease induced transformation of the organs and tissues and consequent restorative therapy. The patients have the chance to arrest the disease progress, to prevent its relapse, to improve life quality and life span and this is the goal of the unique personalized program of the individually tailored reconstructive-restorative therapy and innovative treatment.
